Crow Mystery Box | 5 Random Vintage Treasures
About Your Crow Mystery Box
Each Crow Mystery Box contains 5 small vintage, antique and/or preloved treasures, gathered into a completely random collection.
There is no guaranteed theme, color, era or style. One box might hold porcelain, glass, brass, pottery and a curious little figurine all together. That delightful mismatch is exactly what makes a Crow Box a Crow Box.
The overall feeling is vintage, whimsical, curious and a little mysterious, like discovering a forgotten collection of objects tucked away somewhere inside an old Manor.
Because these treasures have lived lives before finding their way to you, vintage wear should be expected. Items may have small nicks or chips, crazing, scratches, discoloration, fading, worn or missing paint, patina, tarnish, worn finishes or other signs of age and previous use.
Your exact five treasures remain a mystery until your box arrives.
Each box also includes its own Crow Collection Recovery Record, with a story inspired by the particular treasures inside your collection.
From the Forgotten Manor
The crows have been collecting again.
No one is entirely certain when the habit began.
For generations, the crows surrounding the Forgotten Manor have slipped through open windows, investigated forgotten corners and carried off whatever happened to catch their attention.
A tiny porcelain figure.
An old dish.
Something made of brass.
A little piece of glass that sparkles particularly well in the afternoon light.
There appears to be no system whatsoever.
The household has tried returning these objects to their proper places, but this has proven largely pointless. Sooner or later, another peculiar little collection appears somewhere else in the Manor.
Five unrelated treasures gathered together as though they belong.
The crows, naturally, refuse to explain themselves.
And so the Caretaker has adopted a different approach.
When one of these collections is discovered, its contents are carefully packed together, its recovery is entered into the Manor records, and the entire collection is entrusted to a new Keeper.
Perhaps that is what the crows intended all along.
The crows don't curate. They collect.
