The Forgotten Manor — Terms & Conditions

Thank you for shopping with The Forgotten Manor. By placing an order through ForgottenManor.com, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

 

Products & Vintage Merchandise

The Forgotten Manor specializes in curated vintage, antique, collectible, pre-owned, and unique merchandise. Because many of our items have a history before arriving at the Manor, normal signs of age and use may be present.

We make every reasonable effort to accurately describe each item, including visible wear, damage, repairs, flaws, markings, measurements, and other relevant details known to us.

Vintage and pre-owned merchandise should not be expected to appear or perform as newly manufactured merchandise unless specifically stated in the listing.

Photographs are considered part of the product description. Colors may vary slightly due to lighting, photography, screens, and display settings.

Measurements and weights are approximate unless otherwise stated.

Because many items are one of a kind, identical replacements may not be available.

 

Mystery Boxes & Crown Boxes

All Mystery Box and Crown Box sales are final.

Mystery products are intentionally sold without revealing every item included. Purchasing one means you understand and accept the surprise nature of the product.

Contents may vary from box to box and photographs used in advertising or product listings may represent examples of the types, themes, or styles of merchandise that may be included rather than the exact contents of the box purchased.

Unless specifically guaranteed in the product listing, purchasing a mystery product does not guarantee a particular brand, item, design, material, age, rarity, monetary value, or collectible.

Mystery products may contain vintage, pre-owned, new-old-stock, handmade, repurposed, or other curated merchandise as described in the applicable listing.

Personal preference regarding the items received is not grounds for a return, refund, or exchange.

If an order arrives materially different from what was promised in the product listing or there is another significant order problem, please contact us so we can review the situation.

 

Returns & Refunds

Except for products specifically designated as final sale, returns and refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Approval of a return or refund is not guaranteed.

Please contact The Forgotten Manor as soon as possible after receiving your order if you believe there is a problem. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs when appropriate.

If a return is approved, instructions will be provided before the item is sent back. Items returned without prior authorization may not qualify for a refund.

Unless otherwise agreed, approved returns must be returned in the same condition in which they were received.

Original shipping charges and return shipping expenses may be non-refundable unless the return results from an error by The Forgotten Manor or otherwise required by law.

Refunds, when approved, will generally be issued to the original payment method.

 

Final Sale Items

The following are final sale unless otherwise required by applicable law:

• Mystery Boxes

• Crown Boxes

• Products specifically marked Final Sale

• Items altered, damaged, used, or modified after delivery

Final-sale status does not eliminate any rights a customer may have when an incorrect item was shipped or where applicable consumer law provides otherwise.

 

Order Cancellations

Because many Forgotten Manor products are unique and orders may begin processing shortly after purchase, order cancellations are not guaranteed.

If you need to request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been packed, processed, or shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible.

 

Shipping

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

The Forgotten Manor is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, transportation disruptions, incorrect addresses supplied by customers, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Estimated delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed arrival dates.

 

Damaged Packages or Shipping Problems

If an order arrives damaged, please retain the merchandise, packaging, shipping box, labels, and packing materials and contact us promptly.

Photographs of the item and packaging may be required to assist with a carrier claim or determine the appropriate resolution.

Please do not discard damaged merchandise or packaging until the matter has been reviewed.

 

Lost or Missing Packages

If tracking shows an unusual delay or a package appears to be lost, please contact us so we can help review the shipment.

If carrier tracking shows that a package was delivered but it cannot be located, customers may also need to contact the carrier or local delivery office and verify the delivery location.

 

Product Availability

Many Forgotten Manor products are unique or available in extremely limited quantities.

Adding an item to a shopping cart does not necessarily reserve it until checkout is successfully completed.

In the rare event an item is unavailable after an order has been placed, the affected portion of the order may be cancelled and refunded.

 

Pricing & Errors

We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate product information and pricing.

If a listing contains an obvious pricing, inventory, typographical, or technical error, The Forgotten Manor reserves the right to correct the error or cancel the affected order and issue any appropriate refund.

 

Taxes

Applicable sales taxes may be collected based on the order, customer location, and requirements of applicable law.

 

Collectibles, Materials & Identification

Descriptions involving age, era, manufacturer, maker, materials, stones, metals, origin, or other collectible characteristics are based on available markings, research, seller knowledge, and observable characteristics.

Unless specifically stated that professional testing, authentication, appraisal, or certification has been performed, such descriptions should not be interpreted as independent professional authentication or appraisal.

 

Decorative & Vintage Items

Older merchandise may not comply with modern manufacturing, electrical, food-contact, child-safety, or other contemporary standards.

Customers are responsible for determining whether a vintage item is appropriate for their intended use.

Items sold primarily as collectibles or decorative objects should be used accordingly unless the listing specifically indicates otherwise.

 

Website Content

Product photographs, descriptions, branding, artwork, stories, characters, graphics, logos, and other original content created for The Forgotten Manor may not be copied, reproduced, republished, or commercially used without permission.

 

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Forgotten Manor will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the purchase or use of merchandise.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

 

Changes to These Terms

The Forgotten Manor may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version posted on the website at the time an order is placed will generally apply to that transaction.
