Description
A beautiful coordinating set of two vintage framed botanical landscape prints with a distinctly Blue Ridge inspired feel.
Each piece features a stylized leaf silhouette filled with softly layered mountain ridges in muted shades of dusty rose, taupe, misty blue and blue gray. Wide textured blue teal mats and slim gold tone metal frames give the pair a wonderful vintage look.
The hazy layered mountains are especially reminiscent of the Blue Ridge and Western North Carolina landscape, making this set a lovely choice for Appalachian, Asheville inspired, mountain, botanical or collected vintage interiors.
Both pieces are framed under glass and ready to hang.
Dimensions
Approximately 20" × 16" each.
Set includes two coordinating framed pieces.
Condition
Good vintage condition overall. Both frames show light scratches, scuffs and minor finish wear consistent with age. One piece has visible water related discoloration along the lower portion of the blue mat. The artwork itself remains attractive and displayable.
Manor Note
Two leaves found their way into the Gallery long ago, though no one seems to remember who hung them there. Within each one, distant ridgelines fade from rose into mountain blue, looking remarkably like the hills beyond the Manor on a misty morning.
Some say they were meant to preserve a favorite view. Others insist the mountains inside them lead somewhere entirely different.
